The Life You Want Requires a Version of You You Haven’t Practiced Yet.
You keep saying you want a different life.
More ease.
More money.
More space.
More love.
But then you try to get there using the same version of yourself that learned how to survive.
The version of you that:
anticipates problems before they exist
prepares for rejection before connection
overthinks before she moves
That version of you is brilliant.
She kept you safe.
But she is not designed to lead you into expansion.
Because the life you want requires:
making decisions without over-explaining
receiving without justification
moving before certainty
And that will feel wrong at first. Not because it is wrong. But because it is unfamiliar.
You don’t become her by thinking about it.
You become her by practicing:
choosing differently
responding differently
staying when you’d normally withdraw
That’s the work.
Not becoming someone new.
But practicing the version of you
who no longer needs to survive everything.
